Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible to ensure that code, database, applications, and system environment changes are tracked and documented properly per SOX requirements.Maintains application design specifications.Anticipates future application development needs to improve and update the current systems.Demonstrates expertise in a variety of fields, concepts, practices, and procedures.Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Possess an innovative and creative attitude along with the ability to work independently or in a team.Aggressive problem-solving skills.Interacts well with end users to test and debug applications to meet the business needs.Other duties as assigned.Minimum Education/Experience:
2 years experience with programming in RPG, RPGLE, and CL on an IseriesExperience with using SQL statementsExperience supporting ERP systemsCreating Functions and ProceduresStrong communication and interpersonal skills are required
Here is what you will be doing as part of the team:
To design, code, test and document the AS400 ERP system in order to positively impact how the ECMDI team operates and in turn, provide exceptional service to our customers. Responsibilities include hands-on programming, working with other RPG programmers, establishing timelines, unit testing, etc. In addition to possessing good administrative skills, the successful candidate should possess the ability to analyze business processes, make improvements to the supporting systems, and be able to interact with all levels of the organization.
