IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR
Seasonal Laborers and
Seasonal Plowing (CDL)
Fall/Winter
The Milford Department of Public Works is seeking energetic, dependable and conscientious individual(s) to fill the position(s) of Fall/Winter Seasonal Laborers and/or Seasonal Plow Drivers within our Public Works Department. Duties will include grounds & building maintenance, construction activities and other tasks as assigned throughout our Parks & Cemeteries and Highway Departments. Work is performed inside and out of doors in an environment which includes exposure to physical elements and/or to a number of disagreeable working conditions.
Seasonal Laborer

Prefer minimum of 6 (six) months experience performing activities to include: general labor, shoveling, grounds keeping or building maintenance work; OR any combination of education and experience which demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, skill and abilities. Starting pay will be commensurate with position/experience - $18.00/hr - $25.00/DOE.
Seasonal (CDL) Truck Drivers-Plowing/Snow Removal

NH CLASS B CDL required for some functions, CLASS A CDL preferred. Starting pay will be commensurate with position/experience - $28.00-30.00/hr DOE.
For both positions
hours may vary. Part-time seasonal hours may be storm specific (shoveling/plowing). Full-time seasonal may be 6:30/7:00 a.m. to 3:00/3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, October to March. These are non-benefit, seasonal positions.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent, must be at least 18 years of age, possess a valid NH Driver's License, have a steady/dependable work history and be safety conscious.
