The Manager of Corporate Partnerships serves as a member of the Development team and is responsible for the development, management, and implementation of comprehensive strategies that will build a strong portfolio of corporate donors for the organization. This position will initiate and leverage key relationships and contacts within and outside of the organization's network, including developing and managing a Corporate Advisory Council. This position will also partner with the volunteer office to support and manage engagement opportunities for corporate partners. The Manager of Corporate Partnerships reports to the Director of Institutional Advancement and works collaboratively with multiple teams throughout the agency to create and execute fundraising strategies that identify, develop, secure, steward, and renew partnerships with corporations and corporate foundations that will generate new revenue and relationships for the agency.ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversees and participates in strategy development, prospect research and outreach, and proposal preparation and submission to successfully solicit, secure and grow corporate support.Advances new business opportunities through nurturing networks and opportunities to create a pipeline of support.Research new corporate partnerships and create strategies for engagement, including financial, leadership, and volunteer support.Manages the Corporate Advisory Council, which will serve as a partner to advance new business opportunities and retain and steward relationships.Collaborates closely with the Volunteer Engagement Office, Corporate Advisory Council, and other internal stakeholders in developing outreach, engagement, and stewardship strategies for corporate prospects.Assists in the creation of corporate sponsorship packages and approaches for external marketing campaigns.Represents the agency at select philanthropic gatherings/events and stays informed of industry news, trends, and networking opportunities to establish new connections and create innovative and effective philanthropic partnerships.Gains and maintains a comprehensive understanding of Catholic Charities' program portfolio, providing valuable insights and feedback on program strategy, and builds strong working relationships with program leaders and the volunteer office.Promotes a collegial atmosphere within the Development Department, working cooperatively with all fundraising staff to meet overall financial goals.Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree required.10 years' experience engaging the corporate sector in philanthropic initiatives.Experience working successfully with non-profit leadership and high-level corporate executives.SKILLS and COMPETENCIES:Highly effective written and oral communications skills. Detail- and deadline-oriented with the ability to manage multiple partnerships and projects successfully and simultaneously.Proactive and responsible with experience in building strong corporate relationships. Record of meeting and exceeding fundraising goals in a fast-paced work environment.Strong organizational, interpersonal, listening, and communication skills. Knowledge and use of The Raiser's Edge a plus.
