The Workforce Development Manager (Outreach) builds and cultivates effective collaborations with existing and potential corporate employers and organizations to provide mutually beneficial job opportunities for clients within the department. The position supports programs that provide individualized job-searching services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cultivate, manage and nurture employer partnerships with diverse businesses and organizations to include educational institutions and government entities for workforce development programs within the department.Create opportunities and mechanisms for engaging with new employers.Ensure prompt and regular communication in support of overall program goals and objectives.Support supervisor with the development of goals, outcomes and objectives to ensure outcomes are met.Represent Catholic Charities at job fairs and other venues where employers and potential employer partners may congregate.Perform other job-related duties as assigned.EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in social services or other related.Two years of experience working with social service agencies working on community engagement and partnership development initiatives.Experience working with the foreign-born population.Driving is required. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. At least 50% of the time is spent outside the office environment.SKILLS and COMPETENCIES:

Knowledge of management principles and practices.Relationship building skills. Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form.
