Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methodsDesign metal stamping diesResearch and design manufacturing processesAnalyze and plan: workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow, design layouts of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiencyEstimate: production times, staffing requirements, related costsApply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirementsAddress customer inquiriesJob Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering2-5 years of experience in stamping, preferably metal manufacturingExperience with designing small, tight tolerance parts from concept to manufacturingKnowledge of: tooling design, materials, and parts in the metal fabrication process, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, GD&TPrefer SOLIDWORKS (logopress) over Auto CAD or Inventor softwareCritical-thinking skillsStrong math skillsGood problem-solving skillsGood communication skillsGood listening skills
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 annually DOE
