SUMMARY
The Senior Manager, Enterprise Architecture & Integration is responsible for providing leadership and supervision to a team of information technology analysts and architects that are responsible for designing and implementing enterprise wide information technology initiatives that support the strategic objective of the business area. The Senior Manager is thoroughly involved in solution support and project delivery. Selects and recommends mitigation strategies that meet business needs. Directs the business requirements of gathering, testing, and installing the information technology initiatives based upon the user-defined business requirements. Acts as an effective liaison between business departments and the information technology department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage, and mentor a team of analysts and architects and support areas ensuring proper training and career development, creating a team of high-performing information technology experts. Supervise and lead the staff to oversee the impacts and interdependencies between programs and working to ensure initiatives meet the goals and objectives of the IT Steering Committee.Translate business wants/needs into capabilities while identifying implications of change. Plan for future business capabilities, identify application gaps and identify when needs are required.Manages Omni-channel systems (Ecommerce, store data systems), Data warehouse, enterprise integrations and document data elements, data flow relationships, and dependencies.Oversees end-to-end implementation and support for Ecommerce integration and application.Anticipate risks and needs and quickly consider impact to decide how to best utilize department resources in a creative, cost effective manner.Manages vendor relationship and contracts, evaluates new products, and determines how to best meet the organization's needs.Manages and coordinates the information systems that will adequately support the organization's enterprise infrastructure. Monitors all IT infrastructure projects to meet company and client needs.Determines current and future enterprise infrastructure needs, ensuring the scalability of infrastructure design to handle expected growth.Collaborates with IT solutions delivery leaders to define and implement software development standards and best practices for robust, secure, scalable, highly performant, and supportable applications.Maintain a complete set of architecture artifacts that accurately reflect the systems, all interactions, integrations, data flows, and the underlying infrastructure, as well as the business capabilities and user roles, supported or impacted by the solution and its implementation.Propose and implements policies and procedures to maintain, enhance, and secure infrastructure.Protects the company's assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures and informing management and/or appropriate officials of potential fraud risk.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages a team of Analysts and Architects. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Business Management or a related field or equivalent experience.7+ years of experience in Information Technology including in depth knowledge of retail business process/systems. 3+ years in an IT leadership role.Experience in leading teams, faciliating workshops, and developing architectural recommendations in one or more these areas - Data and Information architecture, Integration architecture, Solution and Application architecture, Technology and Platforms.Ability to translate business vision into executable IT strategy.Strong leadership and communication skills.REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to demonstrate knowledge of generally accepted IT principles. Highly analytical.REASONING ABILITYAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
