And as we do, so does our collective impact.Our benefits include:Excellent medical and dental benefits, available on your first day for positions over 24 hours/weekA 403b retirement plan open to all employees, including per diemsGenerous paid time offOn-site health and wellness programmingTuition reimbursement and scholarshipsAn employee recognition programResponsibilities:Practice acts of hospitality and kindness, actively greet and help people both on and off the bus.Ability to assist residents with wheelchairs and walkers on and off transportation vehicles.Work from written requisitions or verbal instructionsPrioritize urgency of work requestsFollow standard and prescribed safety regulationsAssist with all other duties as assigned by Supervisor and or Security Manager/ Corporate Security DirectorReports any equipment found to be unsafe or broken immediately to supervisorPuts Customer Service first: Ensures that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a safe, caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals needs and rightsMaintain the confidentiality and security of all facility and patient related information (HIPPA)Subject to being called in for emergenciesArrive 15 minutes before scheduled trip to warm up or cool off the bus.In the winter, plan to arrive earlier if there has been a snowstorm in order to clean off the bus.Record on daily sheet starting and ending mileage, starting and ending times and your initials.Have all required inspections performed on a yearly basis.Cover all trips - in the event you cannot cover a shift, please call the Security ManagerReport any problems or repairs that need to be attended to the Manager of Security.Use of phone only when necessary; no personal calls allowed on bus phone.Store gas receipts in monthly envelope provided.Turn gas envelope in to Security Manager at the end of each month.The above covers the most significant responsibilities of the position. It does not, however, exclude other duties, which would be in conformity with the level of the position. Completes special projects as assigned.Schedule all vehicle maintenance and inspections.Responsible for vehicle fleet cleanliness.Responsible for all transportation scheduling.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentMust have a Massachusetts Drivers License with ability to operate vehicles.Must be able to read, write and understand the English Language3 years experience in related workMust be professional, proactive, collaborative, conscientious and results-oriented individual.Must have an optimistic and positive demeanor, excellent oral and written communication skills, good intuition and able to adapt to changing priorities and display good, sound judgment with a sense of humor.Must be motivated to learn and flexible to change.At least two years supervisory experience.Obtain BLS, EMT, or First Responder certification within 90 daysDemonstrated ability to think clearly during emergency situations.Strong interpersonal skills.Ability to proofread documents and check for accuracy.Ability to work relatively unsupervised and make independent decisionsMust be professional, proactive, collaborative, conscientious and results-oriented individual. Must have an optimistic and positive demeanor, excellent oral and written communication skills, good intuition and able to adapt to changing priorities and display good, sound judgment with a sense of humor.Superb organizational skills. Must have solid analytical skills. Must be creative and proactive yet disciplined, discriminating and able to streamline work volume in order to maintain bottom line efforts in midst of multi-tasking and daily re-prioritizing. Must have ability to innovate, think strategically and conceptually, manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle even difficult situations.Must be motivated to learn and flexible to change.Computer literacy required; experience with databases, Windows, Word, Excel, and databases.
