ICS Systems Analyst II

for a 12 month contract.Location: Houston, Texas 77056

JOB DESCRIPTIONSupports changes and enhancements from development through production; recommending and implementing system enhancements (e.g., screen appearance, report distribution and setup testing). Develops new program specifications to support specific customer needs and system upgrades, including new releases and resolves problems with current systems.Analyzes service requests to determine feasibility, extent of changes, resource requirements and project time estimates. Provides daily production support, including maintenance of routine production control parameters, completion of routine service requests and research problems.Participates in project work, including analysis and requirements definition and testing. Identifies system enhancements, document business needs and determines development impacts to current system processing and works with programmers and users to ensure accuracy or enhancements.Consults on development and updating of training materials and user manuals and prepares documentation for assigned products. Provides daily production support to assigned system(s) to identify production problems and resolves systems problems. Participates in conversions, mergers, maintenance and development projects, including analysis and testing. Completes special projects, and performs systems testing and other assigned duties.

Job Summary:The primary focus of this position is to provide expert Measurement support with special attention to the Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) used to measure natural gas at points of custody and to assist in the retrieval of quality and accurate data for business users.

Responsibilities:•This position must be able to provide relevant and expert assistance relevant to Measurement RTU's and associated equipment deployed in the field. RTU's support includes ControlWave, AutoExec, AutoFlex, AutoPilot, Bristol 33xx, Benchmark and Floboss.•This position interacts with Field Technicians, Regional Measurement Engineers and Business Partners to ensure accurate measurement of natural gas volumes, adherence to safe and efficient operations and data integrity to customers and various business users.•This position must be able to provide quality technical documents

REQUIREMENTS:5 years of directly related experience.Expert level technical knowledge of natural gas measurement calculationsExpert level technical knowledge of various natural gas measurement meters, including orifice, rotary, turbine, coriolis and ultrasonic.Expert level knowledge of various communication protocols used to communicate between an RTU and the meter equipment as well as bringing the data into a centralized database for business consumption (SCADA).Expert level knowledge of the software used to communicate with or operate RTU's.Proficient with Microsoft Office software.Very good interpersonal skills with and for supporting field Tech Staff, team members, data customers and management.Deep working knowledge of various software or systems that interface with or use Measurement data to safely and efficiently operate or control the natural gas pipeline.Preferred

5+ years' experience in natural gas measurementTwo-year degree in a related measurement field
