Summary
Responsible for assisting guests with check in and out process in the hotel as well as many other guest facing tasks. This position assists the front office in any daily duties that need to be completed.Effectively and seriously deal with guest complaints.Answer phone in a very courteous manner and respond to guests promptly and efficiently.Read log book and handle any outstanding requests.Make personal wake-up calls in a friendly and timely manner.Perform a variety of clerical and office duties, which may be assumed by one PBX or divided among several PBX according to the work load.Serves as information agent for Hotel guests and handles their needs or directs information to satisfy their needs. Be fully aware of daily functions in the Hotel.Log all incoming faxes and ensure prompt delivery.Keep DND log updated.Take accurate messages for guests and managers (including date, time, caller, message).Complete department check list each shift.Demonstrate the ability to handle more than one task at a time.Complete daily key inventory, issue and receive all employee keys.Demonstrate an outgoing and pleasant attitude with all guests and employees.Maintain a clean, neat, and professional work area.Do whatever necessary to help guests and fellow employees.Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
High school diploma required.Service experience preferred.Typing/computer keyboard and basic math skills required.Ability to communicate effectively.Has an enthusiastic willingness to work together with a team.Ability to work flexible hours (days, evenings, weekends, holidays, etc.).Stein Eriksen Collection, offers:
