We offer a safe and friendly work environment where everyone works create a culture of accomplishment, growth, and success that we all share in.This is an entry level laborer position responsible for performing a range of manual labor duties to include installation, repair and maintenance of underground utilities construction services. A Laborer I will perform tasks such as digging ditches and trenches, backfill excavations, load and unload materials, assist equipment operators with signaling safe movement, operate construction hand tools and other small engine tools or equipment.Essential Functions* Perform physical labor tasks in preparation for trenching and bore drilling, not limited to potholing, digging with shovels, expose and identify utilities, mix bore mud, and loading and unloading materials* Perform site restoration work* Operate construction equipment safely in a variety of urban and rural areas* Must comply with all safety requirements and participate in required safety training* Safely load equipment, secure load and unload construction equipment* Follow all administrative processes and procedures* Protects and keeps company proprietary information confidential* Perform other duties as assignedEssential Requirements* High School Diploma or the equivalent in knowledge and training required* Ability to read instructions and take work direction verbally and in writing* Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position* Must have valid drivers license and acceptable driving record* Must be able to pass background check* Must be able to pass pre-employment drug testingThis position requires frequent periods of standing, walking, bending, climbing, pushing and pulling, lifting and twisting. Close, peripheral and distant visual abilities are needed including depth perception. Requires ability to lift arms above shoulders. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
