is actively recruiting a Urologist (ranks available Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor). The candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV.
Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the area of urology. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows
Qualifications: Successful candidates must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent. Must be eligible for state medical license. Candidates must have completed an accredited urology residency. Candidate must be board eligible/certified in urology. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
The Department of Urology is the leading urologic resource in the state and surrounding region and delivers care across the entire spectrum of urologic disease for children and adults. As a leader in medical education, the department provides enhanced clinical urology instruction and training to residents, hospital physicians and staff members and maintains comprehensive urologic research protocols on both the basic and clinical levels.
The Department has achieved its fifth consecutive national ranking in the 2022-2023 US News and World Report in pediatric urology (#41) and ranks high performing in adult urology. We continue to employ outstanding faculty, residents, advanced practice providers, nurses, and support staff. Our mission is to provide the highest quality healthcare for the people of West Virginia and its neighboring states. We offer state of the art care across all urologic sub-specialties.
The West Virginia University Health System is West Virginia's largest health system and the state's largest employer.
