Learn more about our culture here.Job DescriptionSummary: The Inventory Supervisor is a member of the Larson Material Planning Team, which includes support of two manufacturing sites and two distribution sites. This is a great opportunity to join a supply chain team that is always looking to improve processes using cutting edge tools and methodologies. The person in this role will have significant impact managing Larson's company-wide cycle count program and leading the annual physical inventory process. Additionally, the successful candidate will serve as the key liaison between material planning, operations, and finance for all inventory related aspects of the business. Key metrics for this role are cycle count accuracy, physical inventory results, and obsolete and slow-moving results. Location and Status: This is a full time hybrid position requiring in-office presence 3 days per week (Tue, Wed, Thu) with the ability to work from home on Mondays and Fridays. The successful candidate must live within a commutable distance to one of the following office locations: Brookings, SDMocksville, NCRESPONSIBLIITIES:Manage company-wide cycle count programs.Provide daily, weekly, monthly reports of inventory adjustments.Drive remediation and action plans for adjustments outside expected tolerances.Partner with Finance to lead the annual physical inventory process.Be the primary resource for materials planning, finance, and operations on inventory-related questions.Ensure SOX compliance, policy and work instructions are maintained and updated annually.Ensure proper accounting for all outside location inventories.Lead analytics & discussion to avoid/reduce obsolete materials.Support the business in analytics requests related to inventory health and optimization opportunities, such as new product launches and supplier changes.Perform other requests and duties as needed.QualificationsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in supply chain operations, finance or a related field, with 5-7 years of experience. Demonstrated results and command of supply chain concepts.Proficiency in Microsoft Office systems, with strong aptitude in Excel is required. Success in this role requires the ability to work with limited supervision along with strong collaboration skills through partnership with the Operations and Finance teams.Ability to communicate effectively and influence across and upwards & to establish cross functional relationships.Demonstrated strong analytical capability, experience in process design/redesign and problem solving skills are required.Experience managing a large scale cycle count program and leading an annual physical inventory process. 3-5 years ERP experience required.
