To ensure success in this position the candidate must be able to translate project requirements into concrete figures with ease.Essential FunctionsResponsible for estimating projects while representing the company in a professional capacityEstimates projects while simultaneously marketing and building relationships with clients and finding new opportunitiesComplete a detailed scope, takeoff, and proposal for Commercial Projects through proposal form/estimating softwareWork with architects, engineers, designers/firms, property management, end usersAttend pre-bid meetings and walk projects with BDs and/or clients to determine a clear scope of workContact vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain hard bids and/or square footage pricing for each bid proposalSeek out new business opportunities and establish relationships that benefit Mooring USA and the brandOther duties as assignedQualificationsDegree in Business or Construction Management or equivalent OJT3-5 years experience in utilizing Xactimate for construction rebuilding and insurance claimExperience in Commercial industry practices and estimatingLoyal and dependableTraining in industry standards and proceduresResponsible and task-driven?Available for travel as needed
