Job SummaryThe Production Scheduler is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating production activities to ensure the timely and efficient manufacture of our beverage products. This role involves close collaboration with planning, production, supply chain, quality control, and other departments to optimize production processes, minimize downtime, and meet customer demands. This position requires problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to production tasks to support uninterrupted production and product quality.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProduction Planning: Develop

and maintain production schedules based on corporate demand plan, inventory levels, and production capacities. Create and manage work orders in SAGE ERP system. Adjust schedules and work orders as needed to accommodate changes in demand or production issuesResource Coordination:

Ensure the availability of raw materials, packaging, and other necessary resources for scheduled production runs. Coordinate with supply chain, inventory and warehouse management teams to prevent shortages or overstock situationsWorkflow Management:

Monitor production progress and workflow, addressing any delays or issues that arise. Communicate with production supervisors and operators to ensure smooth operations and adherence to schedulesData Analysis:

Analyze production data, including cycle times, equipment utilization, and output rates, to identify areas for improvement. Implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce wasteCommunication:

Serve as the primary point of contact between planning, production, sales ,and logistics teams. Provide regular updates on production status, potential delays, and any changes to schedulesQuality Assurance:

Work closely with the quality control team to ensure that production schedules align with quality standards and regulatory requirements. Address any quality-related issues that impact production timelinesReporting:

Generate and distribute production reports, including daily, weekly, and monthly summaries of production activities, performance metrics, and any deviations from planned schedulesPerform all other duties assignedDesired SkillsBachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred3+ years of experience in production scheduling, planning, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the beverage or food industryProficiency in production scheduling software (e.g., SAP, SAGE, Oracle, or similar ERP systems) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Redzone experience a plusStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to interpret production data and make data-driven decisionsExcellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with cross- functional teams and stakeholders at all levelsExceptional organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentHigh attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and qualityPhysical DemandsVision, hearing, and speaking to meet performance standardsAbility to stand and/or walk for long periods, push, pull, lift, climb, bend, stoop, squat, and use manual dexterity to work with hand tools, machines, etc.Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis and move heavier weights using proper equipmentWork EnvironmentRequires ability to work in an environment that may containnon-toxic fumes, dust,odors, moderate level noise, and temperature and ventilation variations while wearing any appropriate safety and/or protective clean room apparel (i.e.: safety glasses, safety shoes, gloves, hair net, face mask and lab coat/uniform)
