We are looking for a Senior Income Tax Accountant to join an industry-leading organization to manage key efforts for the financial team. The focus of this role will be to lead of corporate income tax compliance, planning, and provision. They are also responsible for preparing federal and multi-state income tax returns, tax provision preparation and tax planning. The Senior Income Tax Accountant will be responsible for preparing federal and multi-state income tax returns, tax provision preparation and tax planning. RESPONSIBILITIES: Sr. Income Tax Accountant
Prepare annual tax returns and extensions for corporate and partnership taxesCalculate quarterly estimated tax paymentsReconcile and roll forward various tax-related accountsParticipate in the preparation of the annual income tax provision calculation (ASC 740)Conduct research on tax questions/issues and participate in other special projectsPerform other duties as assignedREQUIREMENTS: Sr. Income Tax Accountant
Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA Preferred)Have a minimum of 2-3 years of progressive income tax experienceDemonstrate experience working with an ERP system, with Oracle experience preferredHave experience working with IBM Planning and Analysis, which is a plusHave experience working with Excel for Apps GL Wand and Reports wand, which is a plusPossess a CPA or current eligibility to sit for the CPA examHave experience with multi-state corporate and partnership income tax returnsBe able to research issues, make recommendations, and learn new systems and processes quicklyPossess excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
