Tax Accountant , you will be trained by some of the most experienced tax experts in the industry. Opportunity to become a manager in the future. Team has a great collaborative environment and a lot of support.Salary/Hourly Rate:$75,000 - $80,000Position Overview:The Tax Accountant will be preparing and filing various tax returns and handling compliance and accounting for corporate income taxes. Would be great if the Tax Accountant candidate have international or Ex-pat experience.Responsibilities of the Tax Accountant:
Prepare and file multi-state, Federal and State tax returns for C-Corporations and Partnerships, including extensions and estimated payments
Prepare federal and state consolidated tax returns and interface with corporate operating companies
Identify, research and resolve tax issues
Perform corporate income tax functions, compliance, planning and accounting
Calculate tax basis and implications of proposed transactions
Handle voluntary disclosures
Analyze tax accounts and maintain communication with tax authorities
Continuously research and stay updated with current tax laws and regulations
Qualifications for the Tax Accountant:
Minimum 2 years of experience at another public accounting/CPA firm
Highly analytical and strong communication skills
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required
