Pricing Analyst
to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in legal pricing and work closely with industry experts. As a Pricing Analyst, you will contribute to the firm's pricing strategy, assisting in the development of innovative pricing structures and alternative fee proposals. This role reports to the Manager of Strategic Pricing and involves close collaboration with partners, clients, and various internal departments to ensure alignment with the firm's financial goals.Key Responsibilities:Pricing Strategy Development:Collaborate with attorneys and management to refine and implement pricing strategies.Conduct market research and competitor analysis to guide strategic pricing decisions.
Data Analysis and Reporting:Analyze billing data, client financials, and market trends to create pricing models and forecasts.Prepare detailed reports to support decision-making and strategy refinement.
Client Proposals and Fee Arrangements:Assist in the development of client proposals, including alternative fee arrangements.Ensure that pricing structures are competitive and aligned with client expectations.
Financial Modeling:Create financial models to project revenue impacts and track pricing effectiveness.Recommend adjustments to optimize pricing performance.
Internal Collaboration:Work closely with finance, billing, and practice leaders to ensure pricing strategies align with the firm's financial objectives.Provide training and insights on pricing strategies to relevant teams.
Compliance and Best Practices:Ensure pricing practices comply with regulations and internal policies.Stay informed on industry best practices and incorporate them into the firm's pricing strategies.
Proficiencies:Advanced financial analysis and data management capabilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Knowledge of legal services and financial systems.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within teams.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree (required).3+ years of experience in legal pricing within a law firm or professional services environment (big law or high-profile professional services experience preferred).Expertise in legal pricing strategies, including non-hourly billing models.
