Inventory Specialist

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing the receipt and transfer of cannabis product in and out of the facility, whether through internal or external transfers. In addition, this person manages our internal audit process by tracking, investigating, and resolving variances as well oversee over our inventory team.
Responsibilities & Duties
Responsible for maintaining accurate and compliant cannabis inventory, including flower and processed productResponsible for overseeing internal and external transactions, including physical and electronic transfer of product between departments and for saleCompletes required data entry (logging transactions, transfers, and daily intake/outgoing product) using Excel and Metrc record keeping systems to maintain complianceCoordinates with Security to maintain and update vault access list and ensures access is limited only to authorized personnelCompletes periodic audits for internal and state compliance purposesMonitoring and tracking quality control of incoming/outgoing product and packagingQualifications & Skills
Must be at least 21 years of ageMust have at least 2-3 years experience with Inventory and MetrcHigh school diploma required or GED; bachelor's degree preferredPrevious experience in an inventory or a compliance role required, cannabis industry experience highly valuedHigh attention to detail and compliance mindsetProficient in Windows 10 operating system and Microsoft Office suite of productsAbility to learn and become fully knowledgeable of state cannabis regulationsDemonstrated ability to multi-task and manage time effectivelyFlexibility to be assigned to different tasks throughout the dayMust be able to pass a iCHAT background check in accordance with state regulationsPhysical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for at least 8 hoursAbility to bend at the waist, kneel, crouch to access productAbility to lift and carry up to 50lbsAbility to push/pull carts with various weightsJob Requirements:
