Radiance Technologies is seeking a motivated, skilled, and experienced Modeling and Simulation Software Developer to join our team as we advance the State-of-the-Art in Aerospace Modeling, Simulation and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The products that you develop will be used to improve our nation's capability by accurately modeling systems and systems interactions used to develop AI by the US Air Force, Space Force, and Department of Defense.
Are you looking for an opportunity to utilize your technical skills as an integral part of an engineering design team to develop models, modeling frameworks, and AI integration? These models include aircraft, weapons, sensors, and communications systems. Your ability to interact, analyze, and translate customer requirements and processes will make you a key member of this model-based engineering team. You will not only be responsible for developing digital models but also the integration of these models with AI frameworks.
Candidates will develop and integrate system models within the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM), developed and maintained by the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. We are looking for strong, self-driven candidates who love to learn and embrace the scientist and research mindset while delivering mature, reliable, well-engineered products.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field5 Years of experience in C++ and Python developmentExperience using source control and CI/CD tools such as Git, Bitbucket, or GitlabExperience using modeling and simulation toolsExperience with Agile software practices and usage of issue trackers like Jira and GitlabExperience developing software in a Microsoft Windows environmentExperience with CMake or analogous C/C++ build toolkit and developing cross platform softwareStrong communication and organizational skillsSelf-motivated and able to work well within a teamExperience with the Microsoft Office suite of toolsExperience with integrated development environments (Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, etc.)US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearanceDesired Qualifications
Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fieldExperience in designing and developing Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) visualization tools and enhancementsExperience with SysML and Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) toolsExperience developing software for Linux environmentsExperience working with modeling and simulation tools, such as AFSIM, NGTS, and ITASEExperience working with or supporting AI environmentsExperience with developing and using Docker or similar containerized workflowsExperience with integration of projects into CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Gitlab runnersFamiliarity with DoD security practices
