Our busy law firm is growing and we are looking for a litigation attorney to join our probate litigation division. The ideal candidate will have a couple of years of litigation experience. You would be mentored by more senior attorneys at the firm and will have direct client contact and court experience from the start.Responsibilities:
Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefsRepresent clients in court to argue motions during legal proceedingsCounsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcomeDraft correspondence, legal pleadings, motions, and briefsTake responsibility for administrative staff relating to client invoicing/billing records, setting up meetings with clients and completing tasksQualifications:
Strong knowledge of legal research programs such as Westlaw and Lexis products is requiredWork independently while handling a heavy caseloadOver 1 year of experience representing clients in a law firmDecision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a mustMust be a member of your local bar association - active member preferredCompensation:
$120,000 - $130,000 yearly
