Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings.Determine case strategies and solutions to serve clients’ needs after analysis.Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions.Work closely with and provide leadership to administrative staff concerning client billing, client meetings and invoicing, as well as finalizing client projects.Provide legal counsel to clients by analyzing their needs and determining a proper course of action.Advocate for clients, conduct initial consultations with prospective clients, and serve as the principal contact between the Firm and its clients.When delegated by the Partners, prospect for new clients through marketing, networking, writing articles, and speaking engagements.Qualifications:
Required Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school; representation of clients for at least 2 years a plus.Decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a must.Over 1 year of experience representing clients in a law firm.Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is necessary.Well-versed in legal research software (Westlaw/Lexis).Compensation:
$150,000 yearly
