Summary of Position:

The Contract Administrator will facilitate the contract management process through the entire contract lifecycle across all departments at IES Abroad, and will closely collaborate with the Contract Administrator for the Customized and Faculty-Led programs department. For initiation of new contracts, the Contract Administrator will utilize standard templates crafted by IES Abroad's legal team, and will keep contracts for IES Abroad's programs and operations moving at a steady pace. The Contract Administrator will not write or amend agreements, and hence no legal degree is required. The successful candidate must be comfortable speaking with contract administrators and procurement officers at colleges and universities, and will work with all departments across the organization in order to facilitate the contracting process.

Essential Job Responsibilities & Duties:Utilize IES Abroad's current contract management system to facilitate the contract lifestyle process from contract intake through execution.Assist IES Abroad's legal team in identifying and managing time sensitive agreements through development of a priority system, while balancing the review of longstanding agreements and other legal work.Maintain strong communication with IES Abroad staff members submitting contract review requests and manage expectations given varying workload.Coordinate closely with current Contract Administrator within Customized and Faculty-Led programs department to assist with prioritization of Customized agreements against other departments' needs.Track, record and communicate to all parties once each contract is complete, including filing contracts and calendaring applicable deadlines.Coordinate with all departments and centers across IES Abroad in facilitating contract renewals as contracts become due for renewal.Process and deliver contract notice of terminations, when requested.Conduct audit of IES Abroad's existing agreements to identify and renew expired contracts.Coordinate with IES Abroad's academics department to develop system to ensure that international partnership agreements are initiated for new programs.Research and recommend contract management software for use by IES Abroad's legal team, Contract Administrator and staff.Upon adoption, serve as primary contact to implement and manage contract management software across IES Abroad.Serve as a liaison between partner schools, campus procurement offices, IES Abroad staff and the IES Abroad legal department.Proactively keep IES Abroad staff and legal department informed regarding the status of each pending contract.Request and deliver certificates of insurance upon execution of agreements.In addition to tracking contracts, develop system to track IES Abroad's trademark and copyright deadlines, and coordinate with IES Abroad's legal team to ensure critical renewal deadlines are met.Commit to and demonstrate values and promotion of diversity, equity, inclusion and anti-racism.Any other task or duty as assigned or required.Experience & Qualifications/Skills:

At least 4 years of contract administration experience is required.Prior experience utilizing contract management software or working knowledge of contract management systems or software preferred, but not required.Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills.Must be able to diplomatically and effectively communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders.Ability to demonstrate values and promotion of diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism required.Ability to multi-task and work independently.Education, Licenses and/or Certifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.Paralegal or project management experience preferred, but not required.
