Sr Tax Accountant - International TaxJOB PURPOSETheSenior Analyst, International Tax reports to the US International Tax Managerand is responsible for preparation of U.S. international tax calculations forprovision and compliance including related tax forms (e.g., 5471, 8993, 1118,8858, etc.) Review localinternational tax provisions for assigned region.
ESSENTIALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (Otherduties may be assigned)Preparation of the USInternational tax calculations including Sub F, GILTI, FDII, and FTC modelsfor quarterly tax provision and forecasting purposes.Preparation of U.S.international tax return compliance, including preparing supportingworkpapers and reviewing international tax forms (e.g., 5471, 1118,8858, 8900's series).Review of international taxreturn compliance via co-sourced local country accountants andoutsourced accounting firm arrangement.Review of internationalbook-tax differences to support tax basis balance sheets.Support timely delivery ofworkpapers and documentation required for external audits.Support process improvementinitiatives to streamline and increase efficiencies.EDUCATIONBachelor's degree in Accounting is mandatory, Masters in Accountancy is highly preferred.CPA is preferred, not required.EXPERIENCEA minimum of 5 years of workexperience in tax is required. Preferably at least 3 years in internationaltax.Public accounting experienceis preferred.Oil and gas industryexperience is not required but recommended.SOFTWARE:Strong knowledge andexperience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint,Visio).Experience with OneSource TaxProvision, OneSource Income Tax, Oracle, CCH Tagetik, Google Translate.KNOWLEDGE &SKILLSWorking knowledge of federaland international tax principles.Understanding of transferpricing and intercompany transactions.Able to quickly adapt to andunderstand new ideas, concepts, and processes.Strong analytical andproblem-solving skills.Strong interpersonal andcommunication skills, both written and verbal.Able to manage multiple tasksand demands with a high degree of accuracy.Emphasis on attention todetail and effective organization skillsCore Laboratories, including all of its affiliated and related entities, is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for everyone.
