Job Description:This assignment will float between our Main Campus 1919 E Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ 85016, our Avondale Campus 1665 N. Avondale Blvd., Avondale, AZ 85392, and our new Arrowhead Campus 6524 W. Sack Dr., Glendale, AZ 85308 (Opening 08/07/24) COVID-19 vaccination is recommended but not required. Flu vaccination will be required October through April. Flu exemption applications must be received and approved by Phoenix Children's prior to starting. Anyone not vaccinated for either Flu or COVID-19 will be required to sign Declination & Masking Protocol agreements and must mask during the respiratory virus season. Job Summary:This position, in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient, and family, coordinates and promotes patient health utilizing evidence-based practice in the delivery of professional nursing care across the care continuum. This position advocates for the patient and family adhering to nursing and medical plans of care, regulatory standards, and organizational values. Experience Requirements:2 years' nursing experience1 year of pediatric Pre and Post-Op/PACU experienceEducation Requirements:Two-year (ADN) degree in nursing, a four-year degree (BSN) in nursing, or a Diploma Nursing degree.BSN preferred.
