Job Description:COVID-19 vaccination is recommended but not required. Flu vaccination will be required October through April. Flu exemption applications must be received and approved by Phoenix Children's prior to starting. Job Summary:This position facilitates and administers respiratory care, including routine and complex procedures, using a wide variety of techniques and equipment. Ensures care meets quality standards established by the hospital, department and regulatory agencies and maintains all skills and knowledge sufficient to provide safe, effective, and developmentally appropriate care to all ages of patients from neonate to adolescent. This position also participates in executing quality improvement initiatives. Education Requirements:Successful completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapist Program. Experience Requirements:Two (2) years' experience as a licensed respiratory therapist.Minimum of one (1) year pediatric critical care experience.Level III or IV NICU experience strongly preferred.
