POSITION SUMMARY
Shuttle Driver need! CDL with passenger endorsement required. If you are looking for a full time gig and would like to enjoy all the perks of being a Steamboat Ski and Resort employee-apply today! This position will qualify for a $1000 bonus paid in two parts, $500 as a sign on bonus and $500 upon completion of the season in good standing. Post offer confirmation required of driving history (past 3 years, must be free of moving violations).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Driving a 25 / 33 passenger bus between the Meadows parking lot and the Gondola Square transportation center in a safe mannerDaily Department of Transportation (DOT) inspectionsProvide excellent Guest Services (i.e. resort Information, directions, etc.)Provide traffic control of vehicles entering and leaving parking lots, ensuring safe, steady flow, and pedestrian safety; manage parking lots efficiently by parking cars in straight, tight rowsCompliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirementsOther duties as assignedREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a valid commercial driver's licenseMust enjoy people, driving, and be outgoing and personableMust present a professional, well groomed appearanceAdhere to all safety policiesInteract and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski & Resort Company's Service Excellence standardsThe base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.
Steamboat Springs area base hourly pay range: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be minimum 21 years of ageMust read, write, and speak clearly in EnglishMust pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug urinalysis testSit for long periods of timeMust have a valid driver's license and meet insurability standards
