Our Shuttle Bus Customer Service Agent plays a vital role in providing exceptional service to passengers and visitors at the airport. This role involves welcoming passengers, assisting with inquiries, offering support, and ensuring the safe and timely transport of passengers between various locations within the airport premises while aboard a shuttle bus. This position requires adherence to strict schedules, ensuring that passengers reach their destinations efficiently while maintaining a high standard of safety and comfort. The Shuttle Customer Service Agent must also provide assistance with luggage and answer any passenger queries regarding airport facilities and services.

You like working as a team, toward a common goalSafely assist with the transport of passengers between terminals, parking lots, and other airport locationsAssist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their comfort and safetyHandle passenger luggage with care during loading and unloadingMaintain a clean and orderly vehicle at all timesProvide passengers with information about airport facilities and servicesEnjoy working with internal and external customers worldwideGreet and assist passengers at the airportProvide accurate information on flight schedules, gate assignments, and airport servicesResolve customer issues and complaints in a professional and timely mannerOffer assistance to passengers with special needs, including unaccompanied minors and travelers with disabilitiesYou have a great attention to detailWilling to go that extra mileYou enjoy working with a team or individually to accomplish your tasksLike to build long-term relationships with your customersPhysical activity may include:

Stand and walk for extended periods of timeAbility to lift 50 pounds or moreBe able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms generated by terminal environmentClose vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); Distance Vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); Color Vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors); Peripheral Vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); Depth Perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); Ability to Adjust Focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)

Qualifications

Minimum age of 18 years oldAbility to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documentsKnowledge of airport layout and terminal locationsStrong customer service skillsAbility to assist passengers with luggageFlexible with shift hours, including nights and weekendsAbility to pass a drug screenEligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
