Based on individualized assessment of vascular access needs, the VA-RN selects the appropriate device and insertion site. The VA-RN serves as a resource for patients, families, and staff for maintenance of vascular access devices; in order to decrease risk of complications, including blood stream infections. Associate's Degree Direct care nurses without a BSN hired on or after September 1, 2013 are required to enroll in an academic program promptly in order to complete their BSN degree requirements within 5 years of their hire date. and 2-3 years of experience as an RN (preferably in a hospital or nursing home setting). Insertion of PICC/midline vascular access devices; Use of ultrasound guidance; CVC management; CLABSI prevention; basic data collection preferred.Bachelor's Degree Required and 2-3 years of experience as an RN (preferably in a hospital or nursing home setting). Insertion of PICC/midline vascular access devices; Use of ultrasound guidance; CVC management; CLABSI prevention; basic data collection preferred.One of the following: Licensed RN - Kansas, Registered Nurse Multistate License Kansas required upon hireOne of the following: Licensed RN - MO, Registered Nurse Multistate License Missouri required upon hireRefer to Nursing and Advanced Practice Provider Licensure and Certification policy for required Life Support Certifications Required Upon HireSpecialty Certification relevant to units patient population (determined by Nurse Manager/Director required after one year Required 1 Year

Starting Pay:Our pay ranges are market competitive.
