Ross-Simons is seeking a Contact Center Representative (onsite/in-person) located at our headquarters in Cranston, RI. The Contact Center Representative is responsible for providing amazing customer service by assisting customers with shopping for jewelry, questions on order status, and resolving general issues.

Please note: We are hiring for the following shifts: 9:30AM-6:00PM OR 8:00AM-4:30PM.

A Day in the Life

Professionally and knowledgably handle inbound customer calls and/or chats and emails to provide accurate, satisfactory answers to customer queries and concerns, averaging 40 calls per day.Process orders and update customer account information as needed.Actively listen and respond accurately to callers, explaining possible solutions, and ensuring customers feel supported and valued.De-escalate situations involving customer concerns by offering assistance and support.Answer product inquiries with knowledge of products and services (pricing, shipping, and delivery information).Attend training and learning opportunities to expand knowledge of the company, products, and position.Understand and strive to meet or exceed call center metrics while providing excellent, consistent customer service.Utilize a proactive sales approach with every customer to uncover additional sales opportunities.Guide callers through troubleshooting and navigating www.ross-simons.comWhat We’re Looking For

Prior experience (at least 1 year) working in a call center environment using phone, email, or chat systems is preferred.Strong verbal and written conversationalist who can be personable and connect with a range of personalities.Working knowledge of Customer Service principles and the value of the client experience.Have a passion for jewelry is preferred but not required.Ability to work independently.Must have integrity and consistently exhibit strong work ethics.A positive mindset and a great team player.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.Individuals who are open to receiving feedback and willing to learn.
