Job description: Section Chief of Pulmonary MedicineLocation:Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Overview:Our hospital is a regional integrated healthcare system that offers compassionate, high-quality, leading-edge healthcare and wellness services to communities in Berks, Chester, Montgomery, and Philadelphia Counties. With approximately 11,500 employees, the hospital consists of Reading Hospital in West Reading; Phoenixville Hospital in Phoenixville; Pottstown Hospital in Pottstown; and St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, in partnership with Drexel University. Our hospital is strongly committed to academic medicine and training, including multiple residency and fellowship programs, the Drexel University College of Medicine at the hospital, and the Reading Hospital School of Health Sciences in West Reading. The system also includes Reading Hospital Rehabilitation at Wyomissing; home healthcare provided by our hospital at Home; the hospital's ambulance and emergency response; our Medical Group; hospital Providers, our clinically integrated network; and 25 the hospital's Urgent Care facilities across our service area.
Responsibilities:The Chief of Pulmonary Medicine will direct the clinical and operational activities of the department to include but not limited to clinical coverage, physician staffing, nurse practitioners, RNs. The ideal candidate will bring a proven background in department leadership, program development, strategic planning, change management, and clinical leadership to the department. The Chief will work to revise and advance the Pulmonary department to serve the patients and the community we serve.

Qualifications: Qualifications:
MD or DOUnrestricted PA medical licenseGraduate from an ACGME Pediatric ResidencyBoard Certified - PediatricsGraduate from an ACGME Pediatric Pulmonary Fellowship5+ years clinical experience in a pediatric o/p practice3 years' experience in practice leadership & change management
