Responsibilities
What you'll be able to do:
API Gateway Engineer positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, MI). Lead engineering effort to deploy API Gateway to multiple cloud platforms - on-prem and public clouds. Design, build, evolve, and automate production operations of the API Gateways using the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) discipline. Work across organizational boundaries to drive the API Multi Cloud Gateway Strategy. Develop application software using the cloud-based architecture across full stack of technologies. Use the test-driven development methodology to realize the technical solution.
Qualifications
You'll have...Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field3 years of experience in the position offered or 3 years of experience developing and consuming REST Web Services developed in Spring or Java EE Framework3 years of experience working with JSON, XML, REST, Swagger, and Postman3 years of experience working in the Agile discipline, including Grooming, Retros, Iteration Planning, and User Story Creation3 years of experience using modern software engineering tools, including Source Repositories and CI/CD pipelines2 years of experience coding using REST API methods and implementing web services in a distributed architecture systemEmployee reports to office in Dearborn, MI. Position may work from home, but must live within commuting distance of stated officeExperience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
We are offering a salary of $91,021 to $141,015 per year.
