YOUR MISSION

POSITION OVERVIEWThe Lead Analyst - Business & Marketing Data will analyze extensive data on customer acquisition and conversion. This role requires synthesizing data into actionable insights to guide PUMA's sales strategy and channel investments. Your expertise will be crucial in forecasting future performance and identifying plan gaps. Effective communication of your findings will be key in influencing business decisions.YOUR MISSION (Responsibilities)Lead marketing business performance analytics and develop advanced reporting using SQL query, Looker Studio functions and/or calculated fields as needed.Collaborate with the CRM and DB reporting team and query the customer database to gain insight into the customer buying and retention cycle.Remain close to Performance Marketing channel managers and develop an expert understanding of the measures they live by and the decisions they make.Conduct regular in-depth analysis of business performance and effectiveness of marketing and promotion tactics.Invest in longer-look analysis projects that uncover new areas of opportunity and bring fresh perspective on how to grow our dotcom business.Communicate analysis and recommendations in a clear, succinct manner and produce leadership-quality deliverables that explain, present, and analyze the financial performance and plans of the business.Mentor and guide eCommerce, Marketing and Jr. Analyst team members in developing reports, understanding company performance, and analyzing data.Lead ECommerce budgeting initiative, setting expectations for the team inputs and shaping the annual budget plan and forecast adjustments.Create and manage all forecasting assets for warehouse and call center.Refine and expand the programmatic business forecast algorithm and scale-up the reporting products used to communicate the data.Support reporting platform administration needs, tracking implementation requirements, and data quality monitoring in cooperation with other Analytics team members.YOUR TALENT

YOUR TALENT (Qualifications)7+ Years experience in a Business and/or Marketing Analytics function.Expertise in Google Analytics and deep knowledge of Marketing performance reporting.Expertise in Data Visualization and presentation with experience using Looker Studio and Power BI.Familiarity with tracking and creating technical requirements for collecting data and implementing tracking in a Tag Manager.Ability to derive meaning from data and present clearly to the business at various levels.Proficient in SQL Query skills to mine the GCP/BigQuery DB for use in custom reporting.Mastery of Google Functions for use in Looker Studio report building.Experience with predictive and statistical models for use in business forecasting.PUMA is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer.
