Chief Operating OfficerOur client is seeking a dynamic

Chief Operating Officer (COO)

to lead and manage all aspects of the organization's operations, including finance, strategic business planning, budgeting, contracts, compliance, risk management, HR, facilities maintenance, and IT. As a key strategic partner to the CEO, the COO will collaborate closely with senior leadership and the Board of Directors to enhance organizational effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.

COO Responsibilities:

Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.

Lead and manage the finance, HR, and operations teams, ensuring transparency and accountability across all functions.

Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow management, ensuring the financial health of the organization.

Collaborate with the CEO on financial planning and budget reviews, keeping senior leadership informed of financial progress and challenges.

Supervise the annual audit process, work with external auditors and the finance committee, and implement necessary changes.

Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and improve operational performance.

Update and enforce business policies, HR practices, and accounting procedures to maintain compliance and operational efficiency.

Ensure legal and regulatory documents are properly filed and the organization complies with all relevant laws and regulations.

Oversee human resource functions, including handbook updates, training, development, compensation, benefits, employee relations, performance evaluations, and recruiting.

Lead the development and implementation of an IT plan that meets the organization's growing needs.

Support facilities and infrastructure to ensure they meet the operational needs of the organization.

COO Requirements:

A bachelor's degree is required.

Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management preferred.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience overseeing financial data quality, reporting, and audit coordination, preferably for a division or significant program area. Experience managing human resources functions is also highly desirable.

Salary: up to $130,000.00, depending on experience.Working Model: In-office in San Antonio, TX.
