Our CRNA practice is a metro-style practice with an at-home call rotation.- 8 FT CRNAs at Buffalo, 3 casuals- Work (5) 8's most weeks- Call: 9-5:30 or 11-7:30- OR runs til 5- May work a couple weeks of 10 hr shifts in an 8 wk period (Tues is always off)- Colonoscopy, radiology, OR, OB/c-sections in OR, ENT (which includes pedes), Ortho & Endo, bread & butter hernias, no spine.- CME dollars each year- Free parking- Anesthesia Care Team ModelKey Position Details:About Allina Health: Based in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota, a not for profit a 501(c) organization, with 90+ clinics, 10 hospitals/13 campuses throughout the region including western Wisconsin, Allina Health operates in one of the nation's most vibrant, livable areas. Performs pre-anesthesia assessment and evaluation of patient, reviews orders and obtains informed consent.Assures that the patient is positioned in proper alignment and safely secured.Initiates anesthetic technique, which may include general, regional, local or sedation.Manages airway and cardiopulmonary status to maintain satisfactory physiologic condition.Facilitates emergence and recovery from anesthesia by administering medications, fluids and airway support.Discharges patient, providing summary of patient history and surgical events.
Supplies Peri-Anesthetic and Clinical Support
Provides this support to other patient care areas.Inserts peripheral and arterial catheters.Performs arterial punctures to obtain blood samples.Initiates or participates in CPR that involves airway maintenance, ventilation, tracheal intubation, pharmacological or cardiovascular support.Acts in consultation and implementation of respiratory and ventilator care.
