Enterprise Technology Architect

Basic FunctionHF Sinclair is seeking an Enterprise Technology Architect who will be responsible for building enterprise technology strategy and ensuring that it is fully aligned to support our business aspirational capabilities. This role will focus on both optimizing existing technologies as well as assessing introducing emerging technologies into the organization to ensure architectural fitness, as well as drive simplification, standardization, and industrialization of platforms and solutions. This role will focus on cloud enablement strategies to optimize scale, analytics, and infrastructure management. In partnership with business operations, this role will be key in assessing cloud solution across all of HF Sinclair to help drive architectural best practices and deployment patterns optimizing the use of our technologies and technology partners.

Job DutiesResearch technology and industry trends and provides recommendations on technology and solutions that add value across the enterprise.Builds and promotes architectural principles that drive business outcomes across the enterprise.Focuses on providing architectural guidance that provides methods that help simplify complex technology decisions that impact the enterprise.Makes program recommendations that optimize the use of technology, rationalizes technologies and tools.Introduces programs that drive modernization and innovation across the enterprise, in support of our business strategy.Partners with the leadership to ensure our architectural principles align to support our cybersecurity strategy.Partners with leaders and experts across the organization to enable an efficient architectural review process which fosters collaboration as well as promotes effective technology and solution selection.Partners with peers and technologists across the company to build architecture standards that support the company's vision for transformation.Coaches and develops domain architects to continuously improve the way IT evaluates, designs, and deploys solutions with the business.Provides expert level guidance to the Delivery Teams on Solution Architecture implementation.Builds partnerships with key technology partners that can help influence our ability to accelerate value through technology adoption.Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their manager, as determined from time to time are the supervisor's sole and complete discretion.

ExperienceA minimum of 10 years of direct job-related experience is required.

Education LevelA minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Services, or related field is required.
