Job Summary:We are seeking a Sales Account Manager to develop and maintain existing accounts through personal visits and follow-up. This role will involve achieving annual sales plans, presenting new ideas and products, and communicating with customers to apprise them of mutual performance and market trends. The Sales Account Manager will also be responsible for leading a sales team in order to meet or exceed targets, review accounts for compliance, and attending sales meetings, training sessions, food shows, and conferences as necessary.Responsibilities:Develop and maintain existing accounts through personal visits and follow-upAchieve annual sales plan through growth and penetration of existing accountsPresent new ideas and products to secure account penetration and loyaltyManage product mix to maximize profit goals and contract complianceCommunicate with customers to apprise them of mutual performance, new products, programs, and market trendsLead sales team to ensure optimum service to accounts and meet or exceed targetsReview accounts for program compliance, develop unique sales approach, identify needs, and expand salesAttend sales meetings, training sessions, food shows, and conferences as necessarySet-up and support rollout of new accounts as assignedQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing preferredMinimum of three years of sales or distribution experience requiredExperience in restaurant operations desirableExcellent oral and written communication skillsDemonstrated problem solving ability and negotiation skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel required
