Responsibilites:

The Special Programs Evaluations Assessments and Response (SPEAR) Wireless Security (WiSec) team is looking for a S oftware development engineer (SDE)

to help build its security services. WiSec is leveraging hardware and automation to scale its services worldwide, and it needs talented SDEs to help develop and deploy the infrastructure to support this project. As an SDE supporting WiSec, you will work with a team of engineers to design and create services that help run the team's cloud architecture.

Qualifications:3-5 years of software development experienceStrong networking knowledge including a deep understanding of mac addresses, IP addresses, ports and their interactions is a must.Extensive Python experience is required.Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with Wi-Fi and other wireless networking protocolsDocker experience is desired.Linux expertise focused on low level networking including network name spaces, /dev and /sys file systems. Understanding how docker uses name spaces including network name spaces a plus.Experience using Python to create basic network-based APIsExperience with AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudTrail
