Job Summary

Job Description

Under direction and guidance of manager, will assist with upkeep and continued growth of Medline’s E-Commerce properties into specific B2C and B2B markets by working across internal Medline divisions to plan and execute product assortment, pricing, and operations.

Help execute Medline’s go-to market strategy into specific E-Commerce channels by understanding end consumers through data to increase sales volume. Work with sales reps and E-Commerce to achieve growth objectives.

  • Manage the direct to consumer online channel including promotions, test and learn continuous improvement, product pricing, content personalization, and other store level details.

  • Partner with product divisions to ensure that the right assortment from each division is available on the site and that gaps in the assortment are identified for sourcing and partnership opportunities.

  • With direction from e-Commerce leadership, sales, and product divisions, ensure proper pricing is executed online.

  • Identify and present potential market growth opportunities to e-Commerce leadership.

  • Conduct market research and competitive analyses and translate that research into content, new products, new programs, and product improvements by providing leadership and execution to a multi-functional team.

  • As part of professional development, will learn to develop revenue, cost of goods, and expense forecasts; ensure that all forecasts are supported with appropriate execution/staffing plans.

  • Generate reports and analytic-based insights from E-Commerce and overall business generated data, and present recommendations for tagging strategy.

  • May negotiate pricing with product vendors for materials and finished goods in conjunction with Medline division partners and with marketing and IT partners for software and professional services. Partner with vendors on innovation, development, and supply chain activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree

  • Experience in product management, marketing, or other related business function.

  • Experience collecting and analyzing data and presenting recommendations.

  • Experience and skills in influencing, coordinating and working with individuals in multiple functional areas.

  • Experience presenting to and communicating with various audiences (ex. sales reps, sales leadership, division leadership, and executives).

  • Experience taking the steps to ensure the assignment/ project is accomplished within tight timeframes.
