Purpose of Job:

Improve the overall health of the communities we serve by assisting in the optimization and support of CHAS Health production applications as follows:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Serves as primary support for CHAS Health production applications and peripherals.Routinely reviews product release notes, tests functionality changes, and works with Application Support team to communicate the impact to appropriate groups.Interacts with IT personnel, end users, and vendor support personnel to resolve issues.Provides technical and analytical guidance to end users and project teams for workflow and effective use of production applications.Actively participates on organizational working group teams to create process improvement, documentation, and optimizations.Creates and maintains documentation in IT department knowledgebase.Performs other duties assigned, including supporting the CHAS Health Mission and Core Values.Analysts may specialize in clinical applications, business applications, or both as needed:Clinical Applications including: Medical, Dental, and Pharmacy applicationsBusiness Applications including: IT, Workforce Development, Learning & Development, Finance, Project Management, Communications, and other operational applications

Qualifications:

Education/Experience: Associate's degree in Information Technology, Business or Clinical field (Medical Assistant - Certified, Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse) or equivalent work experience.

Skills: Strong analytical and problem solving skills required. Computer skills required. Positive attitude and ability to effectively work with a diverse staff required. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Commitment to supporting a safe, respectful, equitable, and inclusive environment required. Medical terminology and accurate spelling ability required. Valid driver's license and insurance required.

Physical Demands:

Required to stand, sit and be mobile up to one-third of the time. Required to use hands to finger, handle or feel over two-thirds of the time; while reaching with hands and arms occurs one-third of the day. Required to read from text and computer screen over two-thirds of the time. Climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling or crouching occurs less than one-third of the time. Communicating occurs constantly throughout the day. Lifting occurs about half the time up to 10 lbs. and less than one-third of the day from 25-40 lbs. Rarely is there a need to lift more than 41 lbs.
