Senior Tax Accountant - Perm/Direct Hire Opportunity

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Tax Accountant for a permanent, direct hire role with a prestigious client located in Jericho. This position is onsite in Jericho, NY.
Salary range is $100-$120K

• Prepare and review corporate, S-corporation, partnership, and fiduciary returns.
• Handle complex individual tax returns with expertise.
• Conduct tax projections and provide research and consultation on various tax matters.
• Supervise, train, and mentor junior staff, fostering growth and development.
• Communicate engagement progress, issues, and resolutions to clients through both written and verbal correspondence.
• Anticipate potential problem areas and develop effective procedures to address relevant issues, keeping supervisors informed and recommending solutions.

• Advanced understanding and utilization of various tax programs and software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High ethical standards and a strong work ethic.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Four or more years of recent public accounting experience.
• CPA License is a plus.
