Metrology Technician

Working with a commercial measurement system to test the strength of glass. Must have exceptional attention to detail.
Day to Day
40-50% working in lab
30% getting samples to labs in SP
20-30% other administrative tasks
Must have lab skillsYour work will focus on:
1.) stress profile metrology of ion strengthened glasses and glass-ceramics using commercialized and non-commercialized measurement platforms
2.) material management (e.g. delivery, pick-up, etc.) of samples submitted for analysis to labs and assisting scientists with execution of related experiments
You will work with members of the Gorilla Glass Commercial Technology and the Gorilla Glass Development teams. You will be located at Sullivan Park facility.
The ideal candidate will possess an intermediate level technical understanding with rigorous implementation of standard procedures. Strong attention to detail will be very helpful as well as the ability to work independently and prioritize work activities.
AAS - Chemistry, Optics, Chemical Engineering with 3 Years experience desired
This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay someone for this position, however, as a supplier your expected pay range may differ: /hour-/hour.
