Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Employment Litigation Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of experience practicing law in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling a wide range of employment-related disputes and litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in all aspects of employment litigation, including but not limited to wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, and employment contract disputes.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to prepare compelling legal arguments and strategies.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Manage discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, conducting depositions, and preparing witnesses.
  • Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
  • Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients on employment law matters.
  • Stay current with changes in employment laws and regulations affecting clients.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to the New Jersey State Bar with active and good standing status.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing employment law, with a focus on litigation.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing employment litigation matters from inception to resolution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in employment litigation.
  • Familiarity with federal employment laws (e.g., Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA) and New Jersey employment statutes.
  • Prior experience in alternative dispute resolution methods, such as mediation and arbitration.
