Job Details:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Junior Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing legal support in a variety of litigation matters including commercial litigation, contract disputes, insolvency, fraud, international arbitration, public international law, tax controversy, media and reputation management, employment and regulatory, divorce and family, trusts and succession, white collar investigations, professional negligence, trial practice, litigation management, dispute resolution, and civil litigation. Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all phases of litigation including pleadings, discovery requests, depositions, memoranda of law, and trial practice.
• Handle complex commercial litigation and contract disputes.
• Conduct asset recovery and enforcement in insolvency and fraud cases.
• Represent clients in board and shareholder disputes.
• Provide legal counsel in international arbitration and public international law matters.
• Handle tax controversy, media and reputation management, and employment and regulatory issues.
• Represent clients in divorce and family law, trusts and succession, white-collar investigations, and professional negligence cases.
• Manage litigation cases and resolve legal disputes on behalf of clients using effective dispute resolution techniques.
• Collaborate with the legal team to develop effective case strategies.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate from a top accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.
• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, preferably in a law firm environment.
• Proven experience in deposition, pleadings, discovery requests, and memoranda of law.
• Experience in mediation, commercial litigation, contract disputes, asset recovery and enforcement, board and shareholder disputes, insolvency, fraud, international arbitration, public international law, tax controversy, media and reputation management, employment and regulatory, divorce and family, trusts and succession, white collar investigations, professional negligence.
• Strong knowledge of trial practice, litigation management, dispute resolution, and civil litigation.
• Excellent research, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, and work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
