Job Summary

Job Description

Facilitate the financial aspects of M&A transactions including financial modeling, due diligence, integration planning and post-transaction evaluation.

  • Financial Analysis and Modeling: Partner with senior leaders in the organization to identify and quantify value creation opportunities that support investment theses as well as understand and document the key assumptions which drive the financial model / investment decision.

  • Due Diligence: Lead or support due diligence processes, including financial statement analysis, operational reviews, and risk assessments. This involves coordinating with internal teams (e.g., sales, marketing, operations HR, etc.) and external advisors.

  • Integration Planning: Develop and oversee integration plans to ensure smooth consolidation of acquired entities. This includes financial planning, aligning accounting practices/systems, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations to executive leadership and other stakeholders. Clearly communicate financial findings and implications of proposed transactions.

  • Project Management: Manage multiple M&A projects simultaneously, ensuring that all milestones and deadlines are met. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

  • Post-Transaction Evaluation

    Monitor and evaluate the performance of acquired entities post-transaction to ensure that financial targets and strategic objectives are achieved.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.

  • At least 5 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance or a related field, focusing on M&A transactions and financial modeling.

  • Proven expertise in developing and analyzing complex financial models including discounted cash flow (DCF) models.

  • Experience conducting due diligence including financial, operational and strategic assessments of targets.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and meet tight deadlines.

  • Strong skill in presenting financial analyses and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

Preferred Requirements

  • MBA

  • Relevant professional certifications (CFA)
