JOB SUMMARY: The Sr. Data Developer codes concepts on data with minimal assistance. The incumbent is relied upon for development of complex SQL/python logic for investigating possible data issues, data mining, establishing data quality metrics and standards, and supporting Consulting Services team for Price Transparency products such as PlanOptix. Work is varied with high complexity and minimally established guidelines, requiring an advanced level of independent judgment, intellectual curiosity, and deep healthcare data and industry knowledge. This is a full time, salaried position, with salary commensurate with education, experience, and contribution.

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Develop, implement, and execute quality review processes to determine if new concepts meet business requirements. Review will also be necessary specific to data ingestions and mappings as required.
  2. Develops complex SQL/python queries for MRF data mining.
  3. Produce work products consisting of data and analyses needed to execute on paid or pre-sale consulting services. Also includes work necessary to support the Consulting Services team.
  4. Other work and special projects as assigned, including but not limited to, assistance with ETL processes and/or client implementations.
  5. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
  6. Work with business users, technology teams, and executives to understand their data needs to create innovative solutions to fulfil them.
7 Review data structures, workflows, and integrations between enterprise platforms to ensure the accurate and timely execution of business processes.
  1. Writing complex and efficient queries to transform raw data sources into easily accessible models for our teams and reporting platforms.
  2. Identify and analyze data patterns.
  3. Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality.
  4. Work with analytics, data science, and wider engineering teams to help with automating data analysis and visualization needs, advise on transformation processes to populate data models, and explore ways to design and develop data infrastructure.
  5. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
  6. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.

JOB SCOPE: The incumbent possesses an extensive range of knowledge of practices and procedures within the field of data cleansing, data management, and data quality. Primary responsibility will be to work closely with business owners and Engineering to research, analyze and data mine extremely large machine-readable files to identify areas for data quality improvements, establish benchmarks for metrics and standards, evaluate the usability and accuracy of data enriched or transformed within Multiplan's price transparency solutions.

Also in scope is the development of data and analyses needed to execute paid or pre-sale consulting services or work necessary to support the Price Transparency Consulting Services team. The incumbent will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, and acts as a healthcare data resource for engineering team.

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $105-110K. Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
