Job Description

Medline Industries, LP is seeking experienced Sr. Business Intelligence Systems Analyst(s) for its Mundelein, IL office to work with the Business Intelligence (BI) team and be responsible
for data, reporting, analysis, and data warehousing. Additionally, this position involves active participation in gathering and translating business requirements into IT solutions. Individuals
will apply advanced theoretical knowledge of business intelligence and related technology principles and concepts, as well as experience with data modelling and data analysis tools, to
perform the duties of the position.

Job responsibilities and duties include:

  • Develop and maintain outbound transportation business intelligence, data warehousing, and reporting solutions.

  • Create detailed business requirements, outline problems, identify opportunity areas, and design solutions that enable the business.

  • Utilize strong analytical skills, ability to influence across business functions, and manage stakeholders’ expectations effectively.

  • Work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and be detail-oriented and comfortable to work with both business and technical teams.

  • Design the automated solutions for recurrent reporting (daily/weekly/monthly).

  • Develop complex SQL and ETL procedures.

  • Leverage data visualization tools to communicate data to business users.

  • Drive operational process improvement.

  • This position does not supervise any other personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or any related Technology field of study, plus at least three (3) years of experience in the job offered
or in any related position(s) through which the required experience was gained. In lieu of the above-stated primary education and experience requirement, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or any related Technology field of study, plus at least five (5) years of post-degree, progressively responsible experience in any related position(s) through which the required
experience was gained.

Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, and knowledge with the following:

  1. Azure Suite of technologies
  2. Tableau for data visualization.
  3. Talend.
  4. SQL for database management and querying.
No travel required. Work from home (WFH) benefit available; must be in the office at least three (3) days a week.
