Wheaton College (Illinois) seeks an accomplished administrator to serve as the director of the Community School of the Arts (CSA). The director is charged with leading the comprehensive offerings of the CSA, providing leadership and management oversight for all aspects of CSA operations. This full-time, 9-month position (40 hrs/wk, 9 months/yr) reports to the Dean of the Division of Arts and Communication.Current CSA programming includes:Suzuki ProgramChamber MusicPreparatory ProgramEarly Childhood ProgramSpecial Needs Music InstructionPerforming GroupsSummer ProgramsCommunity Outreach for Developing Artists (CODA)The director is responsible for CSA recruitment, retention, finance, faculty evaluation, supervision, and planning.Qualifications

Qualifications include experience in arts administration, a master’s degree, strong interpersonal skills, and successful music teaching experience.Start Date:
