The Proposal Manager will join a growing and dynamic Business Development team and be responsible for creating world-class proposals and supporting materials for government and commercial clients. In addition to formatting, drafting, and editing documents, the Proposal Manager will conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with client guidelines, specifications, formats, and deadlines as well as assist in the design and utilization of project management and process improvement efforts.Primary Responsibilities
The specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Thoroughly review and analyze assigned RFPs to understand the scope of work, evaluation criteria, and compliance requirements.Manage proposal development timelines ensuring all milestones are met.Lead strategy sessions for all high-level proposals ensuring alignment with win themes.Utilize Company repository of content and templates to aid in drafting proposals that align with assigned RFP's technical and administrative demands.Ensure all submitted proposals are polished, compliant and, consistent with the Company's structure and branding guidelines.Participate in prospect debriefing sessions to gather insights on proposal performance, identify areas for improvement, and refine future strategies.Perform miscellaneous editing/writing and project assignments as needed.Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Marketing, or other relevant major required from an accredited university.3+ years of experience in technical writing or editing in a similar industry (preferred).Proven technical writing and editing skills.Experience with a variety of writing styles: technical, creative, and marketing.Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently.Ability to meet deadlines consistently.Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills (required).Microsoft 365 Office and SharePoint, including Outlook and Salesforce.Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is an affirmative action employer who provides equal employment opportunities to minorities, females, veterans, and disabled individuals, as well as other protected groups.
