Your future starts now.The Retirement Plan Counselor helps individuals using Empower as their retirement provider through their employer build a healthy retirement and plan their financial future. This role uses strategic thinking to achieve business results and lead impactful conversations while meeting service level agreements.Candidate must reside in Tennessee - preferably Nashville.What you will doDevelop strategic relationships with site contacts within their assigned territoryMeet with participants virtually and conduct webinars in addition to meeting with them in person on topics such as: features and benefits of the employer sponsored Defined Contribution (DC) retirement plan(s) and retirement readinessWork closely with internal business partners delivering increased client valueAct as the "voice of the customer" by relaying important client feedback obtained during on-site visits to the appropriate Retirement Services area (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Client services, Transition Team)May be required to work from home when no local office is convenient. Will travel majority of the time using personal vehicle to go to local meetings with participants, may include overnight travel based on plan/territory requirements.What you will bringMinimum 3 - 5 years financial services/retirement experienceSatisfy service level agreements for the plan as well as achieve business resultsPossess a comprehensive knowledge of mutual funds/separate accounts, with an understanding of the risk/reward trade off for all securitiesFINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses requiredWhat will set you apartBe well versed in Deferred Compensation and Defined Contribution Plans as well as retirement planning conceptsStrong presentation skillsHave experience with a consultative needs-based approach helping people plan for retirementAbility to work independently; results-orientedWhat we offer youWe offer an array of diverse and inclusive benefits regardless of where you are in your career. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance.
