This role requires excellent academic credentials, strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.Duties and Responsibilities:Draft and negotiate various marketing and promotion agreements related to ad agency relationships, influencer partnerships, celebrity endorsements, sponsorships, and online media buying.Review and assess advertising copy for issues related to false advertising, claim substantiation, intellectual property, and right of publicity.Provide legal counsel on compliance with contest and sweepstakes regulations.Advise on price advertising strategies, recurring subscriptions, and loyalty/rewards programs.Handle disputes about false advertising, unfair competition, and National Advertising Division matters.Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop and implement marketing strategies that comply with legal standards.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments in advertising and marketing law.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Bar in the state of Idaho.Substantial experience in advertising law, consumer protection law, and marketing transactions.Experience in drafting and negotiating various marketing and promotion agreements.Proven ability to review ad copy and provide counsel on compliance and legal issues.Experience with false advertising, unfair competition, and National Advertising Division disputes is a plus.Prior experience in a large or medium law firm setting is preferred.Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well in a team environment.Skills:Excellent legal writing and communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.High level of organizational and time management skills.Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.Proficient in using legal research tools and software.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.Benefits Offered:Annual discretionary bonus.401(k) plan.Medical, dental, and vision insurance.Personal medical and parental leave.Up to ten paid holidays.Family care benefits.
